Deep Down Wise is a dark electronic music duo influenced by '80s and '90s music. They bring new angles to genres like Post Punk, Dark Wave, Synth Wave, Techno, and Minimal Wave. The band looks back into a long journey of learning, creativity, and camaraderie while pointing to the virtue of staying true to one's convictions and embracing insanity as a natural part of life itself.
Talking about the music video for Howling, Post Punk Magazine wrote.“The band’s 80s-90s influences are noteworthy here, particularly Songs Of Faith and Devotion-era Depeche Mode, via the unsettling imagery of Visage and the hair-raising minor chord noodling of John Foxx. The accompanying video is a psychedelic kaleidoscope of abandonment, from the industrial wasteland of an empty factory to the foggy landscapes of a mountain – the paradox of connection through isolation; of solitary confinement still held in a large space."
